very jealous, i asked my oh half for a set for christmas and he bought babyliss said he just could not bring himself to spend £100 on a set of straigteners. The babyliss ones are not bad but they are not GHD's either.

I cant get him to understand (he shaves his head on nought) Mustnt complain though he did buy my a diamond tennis bracelet as well.

My boyfriend got me a pink babaylis one. It works fine enough, but deep down i want the ghds! I shall have to get saving!
  • Not sure if they still sell them or not but I use H2D's ordered off eBay paid £40 and super speedy delivery.

I find them much better than GHD's as you can change the heat settings on them.

Saw a consumer report in, I think, the Times - the Babalyis (sp?) came out the best, over the ghd.

Am i the only person who is disappointed with their limited addition pink GHD's??????? i was bought a pair for xmas and after all the hype I am not thrilled with them. I have wavy hair and after spending 13 years as a hair dresser ( out of the business now for 4 yrs) quite good at doing my own hair but my pair just don't seem to get very hot at all. my old pair are mark hill cordless ones which were fab till the coating came off! I have emailed GHD but they are closed till new year so wondering whether to sell them and buy something else? Any feedback would be great.

I have a pair of the limited edition mk4 pink ghds' and my sister in law and we are both disappointed with them. They do get really hot but not as good as my old ghd's so most of the time I still use them instead. I only bought them for the dual voltage when we go on hols.
  • i think i may be quite late posting this, buti bought some ghd straighteners from ebay, they are called jolie and they are pink. they are apparantly made by the same people who make ghd branded ones but were 14.95 from ebay. I am really pleased with them, they are great and so cheap.
Maybe someone has posted this before , sorry if you have but i just wanted to say about them!
