yes i think its lovely too, she hated me with a passion when we were friends, its a real shame actually as it meant me and him spent so little time together as a result. He was fab. But the most bestest news ever... shes more than likely coming to everest with me!!!

It is a real shame you didn't get on before, I can see why she might find it difficult (OH has quite a few female friends and I have to admit to a bit of jealousy at times) but such a shame it was so strong.

It frustrated me beyond belief at the time squizz but i hold absolutely no malice towards her now at all, it would be futile and certainly not what my friend would have wanted. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I have no doubt had she known what was going to happen she wouldn't have been that way. We are both real outdoor girls and its lovely to chat. I wouldnt be surprised if you know her she lives in your town and dont you do alot of walking?

driving licence form is completed and ready, just awaiting photos
then off to town!

I do do lots of walking but I don't know loads of people here - might do though, you never know! Weird how things turn out isn't it, I bet he is so pleased that you've worked things out now.

i'm heading up your way sometime soon to go out for a walk so you may get a little grey squirrel visitor to you red squirrel drey. you probably saw about it in the papers he died whilst he was out with a group of school children teaching them to rock climb. anyway lovely lady enough of that how was venice?

Venice was lovely and amazing, although a bit wet (wading in knee deep water Christmas Eve, nice ).. already planning our next trip somewhere!

not gone grey but red squirrels are lovely and colourful and distinctive and i dress mainly in kinda muted shades It would be lovely, failed atempts on both sides honey not all your fault, thats just how life gets you most the time.

really glad you loved venice. hasnt it been flooded there mainly recently? wheres next on the agenda? take all going well with you and the OH? we'll have to have a chat on FB sometime fill me in on the gossip! xxx

They have had quite a lot of rain plus high tides so it has flooded a lot - if my not-very-good Italian is right I think Christmas Eve was a record height of water according to the news there. I probably should have taken more than one pair of shoes but I was trying to travel light :rotfl:

Well, we have a list - Amsterdam, Paris, Marrakesh, Budapest, erm lots of bits of Spain and Italy, but next it looks like we might go for cheap flights to Pisa and go somewhere round there in March.

And yep, things are very good How about with you? (I've got a diary on here if you want to catch up on the latest "how can I ask him if I can move in seeing as I practically have anyway" saga!) I am often on FB but usually at work where the chat doesn't work! :rolleyes: x
