  • I actually made the same mistake/had the same problem last year.

    I booked a later date than I meant to, and realised on my confirmation email - I cancelled it straight away on the website and it cost 50p (I think)

    I'd be !!!!ed to, did you get the name of the person you spoke to when you rang up to cancel?

    Fair enough if you'd booked the rooms not realised and not tried to cancel them, but if you did ring within 15 minutes then that it pretty crap on their behalf, mistakes do happen !

    yes mistakes happen but if the op read their confirmation, they would notice their "mistake". Instead they decided not to and have learnt the hard way.
