feelinggood wrote:The only reason I'm staying in this area is as I thought it would be best for my treatment to stick with my doctor, but I don't think that is a valid reason lol.
Saw the doc last week, I wasn't due for another prescription for my patches, so she told me to phone and ask for one at the end of this week. Just did that, to be told they don't take requests for prescribtions over the phone. !!!!!!? Thats what they told me to do! So now I've got to go to the doctors tomorrow, or pay for the patches and get shouted at by OH. Very annoying.
So, will be going to the doctors tomorrow. Annoying thing is, I'll then have to go back a week after to get AD prescribtion.
They won't let me have more than a fortnight of tablets as they think I'm likely to OD. They are very stupid. If I wanted to OD, I wouldn't do it on my AD's. Stupid, stupid, stupid
Goodness me feelie, what are your doctors like?!If it's not hard enough people having to cope with being unwell. Well done on 13 days tho' :j :j :j you're doing brill hun! Love Saz xx

Ahh, thanks Ethel
My confidence is slowly building, partly because I am being recognised for my efforts at work :T :j but largely through my relationship with 'R':kisses2: . She has helping me to realise I deserve a life - I've had too many years of living to work / study rather than work to live.
I have been reading all the posts but I cannot reply to them all.
I am thinking of you all and hope you are all feeling better soon.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

CCStar wrote:Christmas
Such a mixed season
I love the lights and some of nice atmosphere
I don't like busy shops and having much more to do.
Also, faults show. My husband works for a really small company, one family and they haven't invited me or our son to a Christmas meal. It is about morale and they have failed in this way. I doubt he will get any bonus either but he has only been there for 2 months. I am pleased he has a job obviously, but I would have thought we would have been invited to meet them. Things like this bother me and my husband agreed it wasn't very friendly and rather ignorant!
If we had been the employers, we would have invited my new workforce out and their families. There is them, one 19 year old guy and the 3 of us. The cost to boost morale is minimal. Morale is important at work and most of the reason people hate their jobs. We won't say anything but it makes us not feel so caring towards them!
I find christmas and especially new year very sad.. dunno whymy family call me scrooge cos I'd quite happily let it pass by unnoticed, hehe.. I've told the kids they can do the decorations n all that at the weekend if they like.
I think a lot of companies don't invite partners/families to their christmas do's.. I dunno. I never go to b/fs ones and his firm lay on big lavish affairs.. he works in media or something so it's all flashy but I just dont fancy it - to be honest im not sure they invite partners n that anywya, lol☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

You're very welcome, although there's nothng to thank since it's just the truth
I'm glad things are starting to come together in your life.. things seem so much easier when you're not feeling low and beating yourself up over everything. and a little bit of recognition from work goes a long way too! Who knows.. maybe they'll show it with a fat pay rise:beer: on blinky in that case!!
Post when you can.. it's always good to see something from you and we do miss it when you dont have time *huggs*☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

Yay!
I've read all the posts made in the last 24 hrs - where's my medal?
I wish I'd been around last night to gasbag in real time. Looked like fun.
This place hardly sounds like the depression thread at all - most of you are just talking about ordinary issues in a calm way - FANTASTIC !!!
Love and hugs to you all xx
I couldn't get up today till 1pm. I just felt so tired I kept hitting snooze. I've got stuff to do but not quite got my (_|_) in gear. I'm spost to go for a walk every day but there's a storm going on out there!
Been a pig with food last night and will again today lol. But I have lost a bit recently so I'm not going to beat myself up. I'm 4st lighter than this time last year anyway. And me and Miro can carry alot at our heights.
I always worry about the people who haven't posted on here more than who has - so Rose and others - I am thinking of you all xx
I like Xmas - it means family and fun and then a new year which can be better than the last - a new beginning.
HugsGirls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.
I would rather drown with you than watch the surf with someone else0 -
