EthelBloggs wrote:I've had issues with food my whole life.. been as high as 20 stone (not good when you're only 5ft) and as low as 5 and a half stone
I can quite easily survive for 3 weeks just on tea and coffee... my record was 23 days and at the time I was really proud of that
. Used to the whole binge and get rid thing - then I stopped the getting rid and blew up!
I've still got issues.. but I try to ignore them as much as I can.. to the extent that I'm now a bit chunkier than I should be.. but that's ok cos it means I've got curves and I can walk more than 15 mins without being knackered, lol. Ideally I'd like to have that stomach stapling thing but I can't afford it and I can't see my gp going for it.. he says I need to learn to manage it myselfbut sometimes it's hard. I often wonder if that's why my daughter now has issues with food too
Don't blame yourself ethel hun x All women are under constant pressure about their appearance, weight, etc, it's unrelenting from the media especially - in no way at all is that your fault xxx4 May 20100 -

Well, won't tell you my weight, as it's not an issue as such with me, as i'm very tall, and up until around 2/3 years ago, I used to bodybuild, but my confidence has been very low since. I've still got all the muscle etc, hence i'm a very big chap, but suddenly stopping made me grow a belly with itSo that's what i've been trying to lose
You are better at it now, and curves are good0 -

Well, i'd like her to be involved in my life, if only as someone I can help look out for, as anyone giving her hassles, will have me to deal with
I'm usually quite good at persuading people to behave whilst using the 'stool' technique we discussed yesterday0 -

They are better known as 'Viagra'
No, I don't need them, but it was the funniest thing I could think of, apart from Anusol, which I believe is a gel.0 -

Men are too, and when I was young, I made myself work out and started bodybuilding for around 14 years. I'm happy with my results, but it doesn't bring me happiness, as now people only want me for what they see, and it's all they talk about, not how intelligent I may or may not be0 -
