Mr.Johnson and his secretary are on a train to Paris. Something energetic is a good idea, i just kicked a football around for 30 mins, clears the mind :-)

I believe the correct spelling is Amitriptyline and it's a tricyclic antidepressant which can also be used for pain relief.

Did a quick search on google and people say that they are good for pain relief.

I did a bit of pharmacology at university and have worked briefly for one of the large drug companies. They tend to list all possible side effects even if it only effects a tiny minority of people. This is largely to cover themselves from law suits. e.g. I know for Prozac one of the side-effects is listed as depression but isn't that why you're taking it....

There appears to be two therapeutic doses - a lower one for pain and a higher one for depression. Obviously the higher the dose the bigger the risk of side effects.

Currently I'm on Effexor XL (150mg/day) + Zispin (30mg/day). Zispin is good for helping you to sleep. Both really crap withdrawal effects if you miss a dose. Was briefly on 225mg/day of Effexor (max dose) but I was all over the place - much more anxious.

Main side effects I experience are: dry mouth, sweating and raised body temperature. 'R' says I'm like 10 hot water bottles. (but she's hotter.... :rolleyes: ).

Things are a bit tense of home, and I've had a little falling out with a good friend, but I'm coping.

last night i had a bit of an arghh moment you know one of my im gonna hide under a duvet moments , i ended up ringen the hospital (yes tiffy i did the right thing) talked with a guy, he said punch a pillow, nope that dont work, so i pace and went to bed and then was there all day again today, im afraid im being abit naughty tho, i havent realli eaten anything all day, but im gonna have some waffles in a min . oh yes today, well that guy i told you all about is still freaking me out, he is an abuser, found out today. and some people have murdered too. what a mad house!!!!!!!! but they ok,no cant believe i just said that. They did wrong but at least they are trying to do the right thing now. !!!, everyone needs a second chance, and tiffy youu gave me that.
oh today was funni, this morning i forgot me relaxation session , but then i got to colour instead, was good. but then i had an episode :rolleyes: , hehe, i threw a pen across a room, oh so rebelious i was :rotfl:. a nurse came over and said you ok, i said no. then we had a little chat and she said well you are in the right place we are just here to help you along and recharge your batteries. i think i need duracell!!!:rotfl:

then we had lunch but i didnt wanna eat. then i went for a walk.
then i made some friends, they have called me there newbie baby, because im the newbie and alot younger than them, arh one guy is soo nice he a day patient too, he was sooo nice today. so we all sad and drank tea (rosie doesnt drink tea, see what you have got rosie doing tiff? :rotfl: ). then i had art therapy that was ace, soo cool!!!, that took up most me afternoon. then i seen my personal nurse, we talked about choccie cake. and how im a volcano waiting to erupt. then i seen the doctor, and guess what. he said he is gonna contact the police station in sunderland, to see WHY nothing has been done about my assault, yey go doctors :T .

then i came home
tomorrow i have to go to the chemist to get more meds. mad tho, as this is costing me a fortune (or it will!), not very mse, is there any benefits i can get, or can anyone tell me advice about these things?

oh and this is funi too.
my personal nurse made me clean the bath, haha, she said it was part of my treatment, because if you clean the bath then you have achieved something, and then if you get it it then you reward and treat yourself. sooo i did that on saturday, she is a mad woman, if she had seen the bath, :eek: :eek: :eek: , hair, foam, limescale, mud, muck , but i scrubbed that bath then got in it, :T :T :T well done me eh?

and now she wants me to right down positive things, for tomorrow, god she a hard woman, tiff now i know where you get it from? :rotfl love ya huni xxx

sorry blinky a quick question, my shrink said i should go on efexor but the GP would not prescibe it only a shrink could this, got citalopram instead. you know if this is true. also hello to everyone this evening, hope you are well :-) x

Evenin all new desk is bloody enormous!! they never look that big in the shop do they??? hehehe but it looks like there won't be room for his desk too - yippeeeeee!!! gawd that sounds so mean.. but at least I'll have a little sanctuary of my own He's a bit sulky about it but never mind :P

I'll post properly later, he's looking over me shoulder n it feels funny
