Yeah was gonna get my son some syphillis ones

We used to have a very rude Christmas message using STDs instead of the real words - he thinks I was never a teenager - I am still one:D

I am running out of ideas for Christmas pressies so tend to get silly (rude) cheap ones.

I was going to buy some pink drinking straws that had a mini willy on the end for my mum:D

She is very open minded - she gave me chocolate willies last year:D

lmfao @ both u and ur mum!!

I was gona buy terramundis for ppl but i went to order 4 and it worked out at 74 quid so im gonna think about it for a while, lol

I'm crap at presents too.. i'd much rather stick cash or vouchers in a card really.

not much of a christmas person me :/

Hi all, I have been diagnosed with clinical depression with panic attacks/anxiety all in. Joy :-)
I have been prescibed Citalopram for a few months but I am scared to take the drug in case I start feeling crazy or anything. I dont want to read the side effects as I am the kind of person who will probably make myself feel i have them even if i dont. What are others experiences? i have been given 20mg is this normal? Any help appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello and Welcome

We are not allowed to give medical advice but we can share our experiences of depression (in all it's guises!)

I haven't taken Citalopram but have taken other anti depressants (Prozac and Paxil).

Usually the minimum dose is given and I was asked to go back monthly to see how I felt. It take around a month to kick in.

If there are side effects I get them. I resisted taking them for ages but thought what do I have to lose? I was fed up with feeling low so thought I would try them.

I felt better after a month and had the best Christmas I had in years.

I don't take any currently as I had other problems that led to depression and it has been dealt with. I still get my down days though due to life's trials and tribulations.

There are so many lovely Italian and Chinese restaurants in London. I was spoilt for choice when I went down!

What are terramundis? Is it a money pot? I thought it was something like a Ninja turtle on first reading - remember them?

I tend to play it safe too or go very silly. I hate buying pressies, especially for older males. I loved buying for my son when he was young though. Their face is priceless.

Hi I am also on Citalopram I have had no side effects and I have taken it over 3-4 months now. I'm on 20mg also its perfectly normal for your GP to give you that dosage so don't panic! You wont even notice any difference in your mood until at least 2-3 months anyway and you wont notice it at all! It wil lnot make you start feeling crazy etc its perfectly safe. Take Care!
