Bloody Easyjet!

Geez - You know why Easyjet pulled out? Probably because EMA raised their fees so much that Easyjet cannot keep their prices low. If they styayed there you'd moan about the higher prices.
Easyjet do what they do best (keeping low prices) for you, and when some other business tries to earn from their success you complain about Easyjet.
I'd bet you'd still complain about them if they charged £1.00 to anywhwhere in the world with chauffeur car to and from the airports too! Come on people, the choise is yours, if you want cheap, you'll have to put up with these things, otherwise pay 10 times the price with BA and then you would have something to complain about.C. Booked our dream holiday back in July, we are meant to be travelling from East Midlands to Barcelona airport on the 23rd of this month. East Midlands have announced, as of today that they are no longer flying from East Midlands.
I've just spent an hour trying to find another flight and I'm actually in tears. This was supposed to be our dream holiday and I'm so tempted just to cancel the whole thing, despite us having our Euros all ready, time off booked, etc.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any advice or ideas? I've tried a lot of the price comparison sites but non of them are flying from EMA.
Thanks!
You say you know about it but imply in your first post that this was only brought to your attention today.I know about that. Every time I've tried to call them, they've asked me to call back next week until they called me this morning and told me they've cancelled it.
Thanks!
With the widespread coverage and also specific teams dealing in all th e flights booked to inform passengers I cannot see why they did not contact you or why you were told to call back next week. If it was a dream holiday and of all importance I would have thought you like anyone else would have put a bit more effort into sorting it, especially with 4 months notice.
Your own fault IMHO.

This was even covered on BBC Watchdog back in last October ( ish ).
I had 4 flights put on hold until they finally decided what they were going to do, I eventually managed to get a full refund and re-booked with Ryanair for a lot less money.
Stuff easyjet, they seem to cancel more flights than all other UK airlines put together.0 -
There's a lot of messing about in the Midlands with carriers changing....best to keep searching and see what's happening.
Ryanair have moved lock stock and barrel into BHX forcing terminal changes for other airlines, many charters from BHX have moved across to EMA...Easyjet have pulled out of EMA.
You need to keep abreast.0
