When I found that by using a lip brush to get the very last few dregs of lipstick out of the casing, it lasted another month.:D

When I log onto craft websites and immediately look for their clearance or special offers sections.

Only eating out at places do "2 meals for 1 before 5pm" type special offers. Then taking home a selection of pickle/mayo/ketchup sachets from the condiments set on the table.

  • When you go to the librey once every three weeks and take out 20 books to save useing the car more often, you save up loads to do on one day down town while there as well :)
the only tins in your cubard are bake beans you make the rest, cakes, soup ect
if you need anything you wait till you can find it on freecycle, freegle or ebay at right price
Youve got all the niece and nephews birthday presents already, and are now starting on xmas 2010.
you only get your pet food from cash and carry, and bulk buy your items there as well
only things you buy in food shops are reduced
and yes MSE is my home page lol

When you cut up your old bath towels to convert the less worn areas into face flannels or floor cloths, (and go into the bathroom and actually remember which one is the face flannel and which one is the floor wiper :rotfl:)

When you cut your bedsheets "side-to-middling" for the second time, only this time ACROSS!

When you get more excited about a jumble sale notice through your door than a plan to go out shopping in town.

When you stretch two lots of leftover soups into a new meal for all the family justby adding some water, a handful more chopped veg and stale bread croutons (just did it and it was a success!).
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
