I have always wondered about boiling water for tea everytime you need it as in Africa we boil once and put in a thermos flask and last for at least 12hours . You then have enough for at least a day and save on electricity. Any good?
I am practically weeping right now as only just found out about quidco on this thread and we switched gas/elec suppliers last week!!!!:eek::eek: Wish I could undo it somehow
YOU CAN!!!!!!
If it is less than 14days since you signed up you are within the cooling off period and can cancel.0 -
OMW! You know you are a money saver when you get fantastic advice from a better money saver a.k.a. the_cat!!!
Ok questions. Will they take me back like immediately after cancellation? My old suppliers are too expensive. How long would I have to wait before registering with them again? Can I cancel online? I think the welcome letters came with some forms for cancellation but OH has torn them up .
Thanks very much.
Sorry about angry smiley at top. Don't know how to edit it out0 -

Why have a mobile if you never buy credit?
well if you're me you use it as a glorified alarm clock, which really does save on electricity as it is only charged once per week for 2 hours vs an alarm clock being left plugged in and drawing electricity constantly
btw i do occassionally actually use it for phone calls or the camera but i'm not one of those annoying people that calls you and hangs up so you can call back, unless it's 6 months after my last 10 quid topup and i've only a few pence left0 -
You buy cheap nappies to make 'nappy cakes'.

i do this too even though i have a dust allergy, i just wear a face mask when i do and wash my hands well afterwards just in case though i much prefer the vacs that have a cannister you just dump out i'm sadly at the mercy of whatever the landlord deemed acceptable as a vac (why can't landlords ever give you a decent hoover anyway?!)0
