Problems with SKY payments

In May last year we signed up to a basic Sky package with free internet etc and kiddies channel (additional £1 per month) - the total was discounted for the first three months at approx £27 per month, and then set to rise to approx £35. So far we have been charged well in excess of this amount every month; this month a whapping £76 (yes I do not check my statements as often as I should).

Has anyone else had this experience and what should we do? I'm nervous they will ignore all requests for an answer as many of these big boys tend to do.

Thanks

I'm shocked that you have so much money... that you didnt notice it leaving your account every month!

Anyway, try emailing Sky Chief Executive jeremy.darroch@bskyb.com
    Oh what's the bloody point...?

Even £35 for basic package and kids pack is excessive which makes me think you might have multi-room? If so its possible the boxes are not calling Sky as they are supposed to (line disconnected either on purpose or by accident maybe) and they are now charging you two subscriptions. However you should have had a warning in writing telling you what was about to happen.

The only alternative would appear to be someone ordering Sky Box Office movies without you realising (without pin protection just turning to the channel will incur a cost even if you decide not to watch).

You can view your bill via Sky Active on the red button and it should break down the charges for you.

if you have the sky talk package the cost of calls is very high i found , so now use 18185 , call costs are half what sky charges
my favourite food is spare ribs
  • A little embarrasing.... having just checked my accout via the Sky Box - my mother in law has been in hospital for a little while and it appears phoning the hospital on a premium rate line is not advisable! OUCH!

Thanks for your all help though... must come on here more often!:embarasse
