Lawn Scarification

Yes I would second that tramway, it is not an opinion it is simply fact, never ever when it's icy snowy.............hold off when the ground is wet..or too dry!. In fact scarifying should be done when the grass is actively growing, so it has time to repair itself. It is a good time to do it in autumn but you can also do it in spring .....and at a few other times of the year, depending on the situation and requirements.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Please advise. Can scarifying ruin a lawn?I run a lawn care company - never, ever, ever go near a lawn with a scarifier when their is any snow or frost on it !
Heavy scarifying should be done in the Autumn lighter scarifying can be done in the Spring - that said it all realy depends on the individual lawn and the weather at the time you are doing it.0
