Their ok, but they print their company name on each one which i dont like, especially when im ment to be a postal supplier.
Nice to Save. To save it's ____
  • Not sure how their Jiffy bag prices compare with other recommendations in this thread, but I use

    http://www.e-pack.co.uk/

......... for my 100m Rolls of Bubble-wrap and packing tape.

However, IF anyone has any ideas where I can get it cheaper ... I'm all ears!!!!
It has taken about 4,500,000,000 (4.5 billion) years for the Earth to form as it is now .........
and it'll only take about another 100 years for mankind to really **** it up!!!!
  • Thanks for all the advice. Nearest Pound shop is 40 miles away I'm afraid! https://www.e-pack.co.uk compares with Viking Direct on price it appears.

Found these though (on ebay ironically!! :-[)

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=72358&item=5514311449&rd=1

Click through to their website though and order from there - 49p cheaper per box ;D

Delivery is £6.95 but if I were to order 3 boxes, I'd save about a fiver compared to Viking Direct (but then I'd miss out on the free herb chopper) ............ decisions, decisions!!!

Chapel st market islington has a stall speialising iin padded envelopes v. cheap
  • I've just taken a look at "Postal supplies" and their K7s work out more expensive than I pay for a box of 50 down at my local Stationers. TBH I'd never considered by my envelopes online, but I guess if you don't have a local stationers then this place is good.

    They charge 10 K7 £6
    I pay 50 K7 £21
    I save £9
  • Hi all, I put this on another mse board......but it may help here - Silver and gold metalic bubble bags are reduced in Wilkinsons stores. I got loads the other day for my ebay stuff......A4 - 2 pence, A5 - 1 pence each :)

Just a little note to re-users.

I do appreciate that re-used bubble bags are good enviromentally, but, they look very un-professional when they land on your customers door-mat.

Also, your customer pays a postage and packing charge - if you're going to re-use packing materials, please make sure your p&p reflects that, ie make it cheap.

I know that will make me unpopular, but 30+ % of my feedback comments on good packaging.
Life should be a little nuts; otherwise it's just a bunch of Thursdays strung together.

True. I've seen people get neg. feedback before because buyers have felt ripped off that they've paid packing and got a recycled envelope.

If you're going to do it, make P&P cheap enough that people haven't got grounds for complaint.

Postal Supplies are quite simply the best around. Check them out on eBay here:

    http://stores.ebay.co.uk/POSTAL-SUPPLIES

Everytime I order from them I am even more impressed than the previous time - the empire they have built up is quite amazing (you can watch vids n stuff about them on eBay)

Very cheap prices too - highly recommended

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Andy moved out of eBay and into wholesale packaging supplies - http://www.postalsuppliesdirect.co.uk/

His video from a few years back is still on Google! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7455987246157396238
