    Just heard on the radio that they've revised tomorrows trains into London as they're expecting soooo much snow. Hmmmmm. Yeah ok.

    Just had a lovely pasta bake for tea and had a good chat with DD2 about her needing to be a bit more "on this planet".

    DH has now been roped into helping with maths homework which is all done online now.......I can honestly say that I don't even have a hope of understanding DD1s homework anymore.

    My DD is getting to 'that' age. I asked her to help me in the kitchen, and she came in, crossed her arm and rolled her eyes to the blimmin sky - moody beeeyyyaaatttccchhh :mad:
    Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:

    Really don't want snow tomorrow as I'm within walking distance of work (although in the snow it would take me well over an hour to get there) so have no real reason for not going in.

    OK, not as good as I thought. It's been snowing, what, an hour maybe, and there's already 2 inches on the ground, and it doesn't look like it'll be stopping soon. They did say up to 40cms ....slightly worried as Pint still needs to get home.

    I even found myself going off on one the other day on the whole "you treat this house like a hotel" speech....

    I had to stop myself as I swore and declared that I'd never say that to my kids......I did phone my mum and apologise for when I was that age though - which made her day.

    I'm really worried about DH getting to work tonight. When he came home this morning, the car had to be abandoned somewhere at the bottom of the hill, but he works 10 miles away, out in the sticks :o

    Yep, knee slightly bent - that's the one.

    I went off on one too, told her if she wanted to eat, she would help. No help = no food :o

    If he can't get there Spud then there's not a lot they can do about it, it's not as if he's the only one having transport issues. Is there anyone closer that can cover for him?
