I felt sorry for myself then and I had excuses excuses, the same I hear form work collegues etc. But now I have done it I know they were excuses and I now know if you want to do something about your weight you can... Maybe I sound patronising or 'big headed' but I guess now I have been through it I know its a mental thing not a metabolic thing
I feel the same way about smoking:o:o:o and have to clamp my jaws shut when MIL says that neither her health problems or the five colds she has each year aren't related to smoking (heart failure, blood clots, water retention etc). Since I gave up smoking 2 1/2 years ago, I've had just TWO colds. I just remind myself that she's only deluding herself and it's non of my business if it makes her happy!
PS - am gutted that I missed the pictures whilst getting piccolina off to bed for her nap.

great, it's started sleeting. The half of my driveway which was dry is now wet. Bleedin' great. I managed to break a big pile of ice outside the door and sweep it over a drain and pour loads of hot water down the drain to start to get rid but the rest of the drive is just solid.
