Threads gone or dissapeared ?

Yes, i started a thread in this forum last night but it seems to have gone, anyone know why ?

Dont think so, it was a thread asking why threads got locked....im 99.9% I didnt break any rules.

You must have missed some of the replies later in this thread. Unfortunately, one member wrecked it with his postings. This included insulting many members, with a very good legal case for libel included.

When threads go this way, the team tend to just delete the whole thing.

If you have any issues with the decisions made. It would be best to email the abuse team rather than starting another thread on the same subject. The abuse team are the ones that make the ultimate decisions on this site, so are really the only people that can properly explain decisions taken here.

On MSE threads get "Closed", this is for many reasons. The main reason I see threads getting "Closed" is to keep topics current. A typical example of this would be a thread which ties in with the "The Money Tips - Email"

Ah right, ok.
When you come back to the site and a thread you started has been deleted you wonder why. For some reason I thought the abuse team contacted the person and said your threads been closed/deleted for blah blah blah

Yes I think the thread went about dinner time ish. I remember wishing Glad a happy birthday on it and noticing a few comments which raised concerns but when I returned an hour or s later it went.

We try if possible, but sometimes we receive in the 100's of reports every day and it would effectively double our workload.
