I think you can download coreplayer, which has a specific button for connecting to youtube and playing the vids for net books that cant get flash. But yeah if she could take them back, I would. My husband bought me a £99 windows CE netbook from poundstretcher, it was awful, took it back the next day :O:starmod:Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1189:starmod:0

There's definately a case to be answered for theses little machines. They're advertised as being perfect for email/web, but they're talking about 1999 email/web! If someone sends you a link to youtube, it won't work. Even if it says you can put Flash on it, it'll choke on the first Deal or No Deal flash advert it comes to! People associate Flash with watching Youtube and iPlayer, neither of which this machine is capable of. Wonder how many people buy them assured that they have 'Windows' on them...0

Yeah I would like to know that statistic aswell. For the average consumer, in this case somebody not completely understanding when it comes to computer specs and jargon, this would seem like the perfect cheap laptop for them or their kids etc. to do everything they normally do - poor show Next and Elonex. Think ill give Next a ring this afternoon, trouble is they are now out of Next's 28 day moneyback promise, so I think a phone call accompanied with a letter to trading standards stating they violate the Trade Descriptions Act and that they aren't fit for purpose should suffice - well i'll try anyway!
My work colleague bought 3 of these (1 each for the kids) at £160 a pop!!! Like what I said? click thanks!:rotfl: :rotfl:
