Been paid, updated my september to october budget from a previous post.

All rent/utilities/household bills paid except sky- their d/d will come out on Monday.

All debt repayments made and phones up to date. Taken 9.50 a month off dormant orange account.

Did big food shop with OH yesterday. It came to £131.96 which I paid. That's my half of the groceries for the month. He will take out £130 in cash on his payday on Friday and that will be for our groceries until 25th October. Should be easily done. £200 a month was a squeeze for us so set it for £250. As the big shop was a little over my half due to OH drinks, he will contribute £130 too. We should be eating like kings!

So paid off in full old wonga account, old account with DCA and an old insurance policy. Feels good to have 3 less complications in my life.

My phones are all up to date which means there should be no late/overdue accounts on my credit file and lots of updates saying account paid in full...and closed!!

Credit score is diabolical- 401/very poor. But hopefully as I close an account each month it should improve. Overpayments made to all creditors this month. Nice rounded-down balances to work with:

    BC visa £500
    LPF visa £200
    V visa £200
    Ikea £400
    DP £200

    = £1500 on cards
    £2000 on overdraft
£774 dormant account which has defaulted- last on my list as no CCA

    = £4274 in my name + £2500 owed to a friend

    So this is the plan.

    SNOWBALLING
    1. October- minimum payments to all creditors, pay off Vanquis in full
    2. November- minimum payments to all creditors, pay off Dorothy Perkins in full
    3. December- minimum payments to all creditors, pay off LPF visa in full
    4. January- minimum payments to all creditors, pay off Ikea in full
    5. February- pay off Next and Barclaycard in full- DF in my name

The only slight issue may be January paying Ikea as I will have a new car to insure etc then but if I throw any spare cash at it from October- December then hopefully the balance (currently £400) will be small enough to clear.

So overpayments to Ikea with any spare £££ from now until January.

Then March-May= pay off my friend £850, £850 and £800

So realistically, my DF date could be...May 25th 2012

My secret hope is that I could pay my friend in 2 payments of £1250 to bring DF date forward by a month. We shall see.

Ok, all bills have been paid except one for £80.46 which comes out tomorrow.

Which leaves me with £177.02 in the bank. I have £30 coming from OH in a week to cover the taxis from last night. I also have his share of rent/bills to come in a week for £350.

This gives me a total of £557.02.

OH is also taking out £130 and putting it into the groceries pot which I tend to do all the shopping for and I'm confident that's more than enough to get us through until 25th Oct given that I've just filled the cupboards and freezer with a £130 shop myself. Putting the receipts into the pot too so can do end of month analysis of spends.

I also have £11 in another account which I will use for posting ebay parcels. I also have £100 in cash left from last night. I was going to pay this in to my bank account but I have given £20 to OH for bbq today and some spends.

This leaves me with £80 which I am going to use to pay the cleaner (3 weeks of £25) and take out £20 so all 4 weeks wages are ready for her leading up to my payday.

So far on my clothes spends I have spent £72.83. I desperately need tights, possibly a black and a grey cardigan and at some point a black jacket/blazer. So I'm on track to come well under the month's £150 clothes budget.

I have 14 items currently listed on ebay and a pile of 31 items ready to list over the next 3 days. So I will have some outgoings for this (packaging stuff and postage) but dribs and drabs of paypal money coming in.

If I can have £200 left the day before payday it means I can clear Vanquis technically this month and next month clear Dorothy Perkins.

Maybe I'm being unrealistic because I have a nail appointment, a couple of social things scheduled and things will crop up but it's good to have a target.

To summarise- I have £568.02 which has to do petrol, nails, £20 to cleaner, a month's gym membership, creditexpert fee, between £20-35 to Orange and possibly some clothes to buy plus nothing to spend on groceries. Hope I have got this right because it looks pretty promising.

so a busy week it was for me. Having a quiet weekend to relax, recharge and recuperate.

Investigated the gym option- the one I want for my physio is £71.70 pcm. I know it's a lot but I need to invest in me. I keep saying I'm going to do it but I don't and now my health is at stake so no choice.

So, money left this month from the grocery pot is £42.00. This has to do us for 23 more days.

We have plenty of meat, bread, pasta/rice/noodles, canned goods etc and enough fruit and snacks for a week or so so I'm hopeful we can stick to this. £42 has to cover milk, fruit, lunch stuff, cat litter and food, cheese and veg.

    In terms of my money:

    £15.01 in my bank account
£380 coming from OH, should clear tomo. This is for rent/bills/taxis
£33.69- ebay money- should clear Tuesday
£12.14- ebay money- should clear Wednesday
£3.65- ebay money- should clear Thursday
£20.00 quidco payout- should clear Friday
£19.95 refund from hire company- should clear from Thursday onwards

which gives me £484.44. This has to cover me for 23 days. All bills, travel, debts have been paid. This needs to cover:

    £75.00 cleaner
£71.70 gym (although I may get this back as a birthday present for the first month)

£146.70 leaving me £337.74 for ebay fees and postage/packaging, one night out, one birthday present, one lunch out, parking for one appointment (should be £2.50), one phone bill due to direct debit date changing.

I'm aiming to have £200 left at the end of the month and I'm hopeful it can be done although it will be tight.

I currently have £6.05 to be paid to me from ebay (less paypal fees) and another 15 items currently for sale. I have amassed a pile of at least 20 other items I can list. I have 10 items to post tomorrow which I'm hoping to do for £30 as they are quite light. I'm hoping my ebay sales will supplement my money and make sure I hit the £200 target for before payday.

I'm also furiously checking creditexpert for the 2 things I've paid to be updated (both are defaults ) but hoping things will look a little more positive with the word SATISFIED next to them. Once I'm debt free, I'll add notes to my defaults explaining them.

Not much else to report, OH is driving me mad by being selfish/addicted to computer games/not contributing around the house and I am struggling to keep calm and happy.

If I managed to have £200 left over at the end of the month, this is how October's rough budget might look.

    Incoming- 2267.19 plus 350= £2617.19

    Outgoing-
    rent/bills/cleaner- £747
    Petrol: £55 Clothes: £50 Car Ins: £47.93 Beauty: £33 Gym: £72= £257.93
    Groceries: £125
    Phones: £90
    Hair: £120
Car Tax: £35 (OH and I to pay half each)
TV License: £73 (OH and I to pay half each)

    Total- £1169.26 plus £200 saved from Sept budget= £1369.26

Our major expense this month is a car mot and service. OH and I paying half each. Knowing some of what needs doing, I'm hoping £350 each will cover it. Car insurance also needs renewing so need to get quotes.

If it was feasible that I saved the £200, the MOT/service comes in on budget and everything else comes in on budget, that would leave me £1019.26 for debt repayments.

£400 of this would cover paying off vanquis and dorothy perkins (plus a few pounds interest) then minimums on barclaycard, lpf and ikea. (approx £50 in total). This leaves £569.26 towards my new car.

Lots of figures still to come in so this is just hypothetical wonderings.

I'm still hopeful that I'll be able to stick to the following schedule but I know it's going to be VERY tight.

October payday- pay off in full vanquis and dorothy perkins cards- minimums on lpf visa, ikea and barclaycard
November payday- pay off lpf visa in full- minimums on ikea and barclaycard (any spare cash this month throw at ikea to reduce balance for next month)
December payday- pay off ikea in full- minimum on barclaycard (any spare cash this month throw at barclaycard to reduce balance for next month)
January payday- pay off barclaycard in full (any spare cash this month save ready to throw at dormant/defaulted/frozen next account)
February payday- pay off dormant next account in full (make £625 payment to friend)
March payday- pay £1000 off o/d and £625 to friend
April payday- pay £1000 off o/d and £625 to friend
May payday- pay £625 DFD May 25th 2012
