Sorry to hear about that Missymoo.

Is there no chance of you being able to travel by public transport or set up a car sharing pool? Even if you just drove every other week then it would save fuels and wear and tear costs

Hi missy, I've reported the post above from Ann12345!

Thats carrpy about the petrol. Can they legally do that? How much notice have they given on the change of contract?

I know you want to repay your debts but would it be more financially feasible for DH to help you out so you clear it quicker and pay less interest?

Its military so they can do whatever they want unfortunately pippa, and we did get notice but as ive been away I didnt know.

Im so independant that I really dont want to ask OH for help, although when I sell the car it will only take me 4months to pay it off, so its not too bad

Just makes the traveling to work even worse, there are no perks at all anymore.

And thanks for reporting the post for me, it annoys me so much when people do that!

Tough situation but if you sell the car it will be great to pay things off so quick. Maybe you can then start saving for a new one?
Would a moped be a possibility?
