I had a nice Sunday visiting my brother as his son / my nephew was 18 today. My brother is working abroad and only back in UK for a few days...wont see him now until Christmas!

I owe OH another £240 which i guess isnt that bad, if I can keep things tight this month I will only need to find another £1oo or so.

And I might have a solution to all my debt problems, I might be selling my little car, that would knock £8ooo off it, which would mean i could have the rest paid off in a matter of months. going to look into this further. right really must get out of bed, oh how I hate mondays!!!

Just had a look on the direct gov website to see if there are any decent jobs in my area that would pay the same as I'm on but would negate the need to travel an hour each way. But there really isn't anything, not that I could apply right now but I thought there would be something but seriously there was nothing at all!!!

Trying to get my life sorted this evening, have finally done all of the holiday washing, I just need to sort it out, all 8 loads of it are sitting on the spare room bed waiting to be folded and sorted. :eek:

Need to -start- finish writing my OU assignment today, as I have quite a busy week.

Tomorrow I am having my haircut for the first time in 3 years :eek: but my step sister who is very nearly qualified is cutting it as part of her final exams for hairdressing as she needs to cut curly hair and mine fits the bill! And it is only going to cost me £2!!! Well I'll give her £5 to be nice but still how good is that, and to top it all my stepmum is going to cook me dinner!!! woo hooo :T:j

Really getting to grips with my money! I managed to only spend £9 (not including groceries as that comes out the grocery budget, but even then I didn't spend very much) this weekend, and that was with having dinner and 2 drinks at the babyshower!!!

Trying to be supergood this week after eating only rubbish all weekend, and I mean total rubbish, :EasterBun this was me on friday night, a whole easter egg in about ten minutes flat!!

After all the indulgences of the holiday and the weekend, my work skirt is somewhat tight this morning, which it hasn't been for years, so definitely on a major diet!!

I've decided that if I do sell my car, I'm going to start saving, more or less the amount of money I was putting to my debts, maybe just a tad less so that I don't feel quite so restricted.

You need to motivate me to start writing OU assignment, I just can't help myself being so lazy. I need to get going with it...

Can you actually manage without your car? If you were going to sell it? Shame on the job front, but just keep looking,. something might come up in your area soon. And I'm joining in with the diet, I can't stop eating chocolates-it's TTOM, I can hardly fit into my trousers!!!

Hey Kavics hun, my assignment is due on friday and I haven't even started it if I'm honest, I too am the laziest person going and I would much rather sit and do nothing than even look at my assignment.

Yes I think I could manage very well without my car as OH has a perfectly good nice car, which I could use. I can't even blame my overeating on TOTM, I'm just a pig, hate being this fat I start to run out of clothes I can wear!!!

Motivation as requested Kavics:

If I am sitting down and doing my OU stuff tonight, then you need to too young lady, it's not going to write itself now is it, and once you get started it is so much easier, you just need to take that first step then before you know it it'll be done and you wont have to worry about it anymore.

Do I sound convincing? This is the chat I have to have with myself everyday to try and get things done lol.
