Missy, motivation hasn't worked yet. You need to come up with a better one. I'm watching Gadget show:o.
On getting extra money-have you tried babysitting? I find it very easy to earn extra money when needed, while paying my debt back I did twice a week-getting me more than £200 a month. It was easy as I only took jobs when the kids were already asleep, took my OU material with me and got on with studying. It doesn't pay much but more than nothing. I can recommend www.sitters.co.uk- they always send me one for Thurs/Fri/Sat night though I'm far too lazy nowadays.0 -
thanks kavics hun, just had a look but it says you need to be a professional childcare assistant/carer which I'm not so I'm not sure how I'd get on.
Ended up going to my sisters for tea, am knackered now though all that driving really does take it out of you.
dont tell me off kavics but I havent done my OU stuff either tonight, and I'm runnign out of days!!!!0 -
Motivation lady! X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Morning, I feel your pain
.
Let's do the OU staff today, I'll start straight after my spinning class tonight, amm, around 9ish?
You can always give a call to sitters and see what they say, I work with children so for me it was easy and straightforward. I only needed to show them my first aid certificate and they haven't contacted any of my references.0 -
Well hello my sweet!
Sorry I've not replied yet but been mad with work so nowhere near MSE for a few weeks
Glad you had a fabby time, sorry you are back to the normal time apart. I'm sure you will settle back down again, its just so hard when you have been together like you have for the last few weeks.
I'm sure you will find a way to make the extra, I could do with doing the same too, but might head to the odd car boot with Mum.
Take care, x
PS - You promised pics - stamps feet  :A0 -
Kavics my lovely
I too will start my OU today although I'm going to have a quick look at lunch time and then carry it on when I get home tonight about tenish but will definitely have a marathon session tomorrow night, have even cancelled my night out!!!! Could do with saving the money anyway to be honest.
I have a confession to make, I have bought a ready made sandwich from tesco!!!! I dont usually do it but i didnt get up til late. but the sandwich was only 70p but crikey do I feel quilty about it, it's strange how things can change isnt it, I wouldnt have thought twice about it a couple of weeks ago, infact I would have bought crisps and a chocolate bar to go with it!!
Things are definitely getting better!
Hey Pippa lovely to hear from you hun...... and yes I did promise pics, will see what I can do, have no idea how to post them though, but will see what I can do!!
BTD I have only had 2 cups of tea today haven't had any at all at work as was running late, might have to rectify the situation in a minute.
Hope you all have happy tuesdays.... isn't the weather nice again!!
