wooo hooo just done my first bit of debt busting and have taken myself out of the teabar at work as I bring in my own milk and tea anyway so the £5 a week can be used elsewhere. Happy about that, I know it is only £5 but it all counts doesn't it.

Every £5 is important- good decision!
Sounds like you are re-energised and raring to meet those targets!
Well done on the OU assignment- do feel free to ask me to read through your next one at draft stage if it could help!

aww thank you am quite proud of myself for finally cancelling it.

Ok I know I'm on here sooner than I said but I've done some washing, made tea and cleaned the kitchen as well as making my lunch for tomorrow, so not too bad.

Thank you so much for the offer of help Jellie, I think I may well take you up on that, I need all the help I can get and it is so nice of you to offer.

After doing my chores I've been sitting outside with a cup of tea, it's lovely, it is so nice for it to be light and warmish. I'm so much happier being outside, espec as I spend 11 hours a day either at work or travelling to and from.

Have sat down and looked at my budget, and my goodness it's tight!!! I've given myself £15 to spend a week on any chance things I might do whilst OH is away, but to be honest , I very rarely do anything that costs more than a fiver. and I've told myself if I don't spend it one week I can spend it the next, that way I can still do things. I've got a bigger budget for when OH is home but that's because we go out a lot more.

Have been reading Weezls 50p a day thread, I think I've mentioned it before, but I'm definitely learning a lot by reading it.

I can't believe its 8 o clock and its not dark yet, roll on the summer!!!

I've been taking advantage of the weather today too. So lovely to just sit outside with a cuppa.
I learn so much from reading these forums- probably spend too much time doing it though! Especially now I'm reading the weddings section too!

I'm just looking out for good ideas. Although some stuff is just scaring me! Can't believe how many people have problems with their families etc when organising weddings!

In my case marrying abroad would cause stress too! I guess I'll feel better when I know what we really want to do!
