Right lunchtime is quiet for a change so I thought I would write you a lovely update.

Well as you know I'm now Mrs!!!

We had the most fantastic time, everything was perfect, I couldn't fault a thing, the villa was lovely and the wedding was perfect, and it didn't rain once, we were treated like royalty the whole time! It was really lovely to have OH to myself the whole time what with him working away etc, getting married has only made me love him more!!

But Now I'm back to reality OH goes away tomorrow and its life as per normal.

So I'm going to take a big step back and look at my finances and see what I can change and save on. Really going to reign it in, I've been so bad with everything lately.

So paying off my debt and losing the holiday weight are the top of my list of things to do!!

Thanks again for all the lovely messages and well wishes they were very much appreciated.

    xx

thanks honey, my weightloss target isn't being helped very much by the fact I have been given two packets of chocolate biscuits, work is manic and OH has gone away today.

But on a good note, I haven't bought anything since I've been back from holiday, apart from petrol and food, which is budgeted for.

Going to go through my budget tonight after I have tidied up, there are still suitcases in the hallway!!! I was hoping to do some bits at work but I haven't had a minute to myself yet!!!!

Well I was a right lazy mare last night, made dinner and went and sat in bed with my laptop and watched the great british menu and masterchef!!!! But I slept really well and think I am finally over my jetlag. Said ta ta to my husband for 4.5 weeks yesterday which was a bit hard, but the sooner he goes the sooner he comes back.

Really must get my backside into gear today, work is absolutley manic, hence why I haven't been on here yet.

Have a mammoth weekend planned, got to get up early and go and see my nan and grandad on saturday, then off to see my mum then to my friends to help make cakes for the baby shower she's throwing for her daughter on sunday, then on sunday I'm helping set up the babyshower etc.

So tonight I need to go and get a couple of bits to bake the cakes, shouldn't cost much and will take out of the groceries budget. Really need to do some washing and sort out the cases, and actually make my lunch for tomorrow, as I didn't last night and had to do it this morning, so was nearly late!!

So then on friday I can do a little more clearing up and some more washing and then I can get to work on my second OU assignment.

Ooooh did I tell you that I got my first one marked and got 64%? I know it isn't the highest mark in the world but I was expecting to get a lot lower, especially as I was so stressed and poorly when I wrote it so things can only get better, thanks again for all the help and advice kavics hun!!!

Keep trying to write this and have been trying since 10am but keep getting distracted with work!! How rude!!!

Have been reading up on trying to tighten up my food spending as I really don't need to be spending so much!!! Will pass on any tips I find useful,r eally need to get back into my oldstyleness of making bread and batch cooking which saves soo much money, and not buying things just because they are low in fat but twice as expensive.... I should really just eat less!!

will be back later with some debtbusting plans!

    Missy (Mrs) Moo

    Right, debt busting:

Car share - hopefully start again next week
Cut grocery shopping hugely by following tips on here and not fad dieting
Only make necessary journeys in car and try and to link trips together to save on petrol.
Never buying sweets etc at work
Not buying clothes, I have so many that I am too fat to fit into, big incentive to lose weight
Stay away from ebay unless listing things to sell!
Not going to starbucks every saturday (this is a hard one to break as I love it but should never have started again really - Crikey listen to me, sounds like I have some hard core addiction!!!!) Also spending £3 a week for 2hrs parking is pretty steep!
Stay away from Primark, it is not my friend!!! I need to learn that yes things are cheap at £1 but when you buy 25 of them it isn't quite as cheap!!!
Basically I need to stop going into the city on a saturday, I always end up so much worse off!
Shop around for food shopping and find the best price for things.
    No takeaways!!
No magazines, I never have time to read them!!!
Still not buying any toiletries, this I have stuck to so I just need to keep going with it.
Basically I haven't spent any money since I have been back and nor have I needed to, apart from petrol, so.... I'm going to try my best to keep it up.

hi missy, well done on OU assignment, believe me it will get easier. I'm nearly over my course, can't wait till the end of May.

I'm sure you will be able to stick to the above mention things, just stay focused and you'll be fine! I'm sure Starbucks will be the hardest, I used to go to Caffee Nero with friends every week but haven't been there for a year nearly, i just don't feel the need and always insist on meeting in the park instead :).

Also need to get myself super organised and into a routine, and out of the habit of going to bed as soon as I get in!!!!!

In the evening I need to:
Make my lunch for the next day
    Make dinner
    clear up kitchen
    quick tidy through
either, hoover, dust or bathrooms, on alternate days
do any washing that needs doing

hmmmm will do some more thinking and see what I come up with.
