Hey don't beat yourself up over things. You could still go for that kind of job again - nothing to stop you. You've got so much on at the mo, take things one step at a time.

Didn't get my porridge. got a bit carried away sorting out a load of paperwork. Just having home made soup but not enjoying it as looked yuk when it had finished defrosting.

Thanks kavics and pippajo, just feel a bit rubbish about it all, can't do the job later pippajo would take me away from family all over the country etc.

I guess I just wish I had done things sooner when I was younger.

not a happy bunny, but can't say anything to OH as he'd be devestated if he thought he'd stopped me from doing something.

I guess you have to think of it more as you don't want to go away rather than he's stopping you - he works away so understands what is involved. I'm sure you will find something that suits you in time.

Thanks Pippa just feeling a bit skew iff today, think I need a hug really that's all, I'm sure I'll like being a teacher which is what I'm doing my OU for, it is just hard when you make a life changing decision I think.

Anyway have had a lovely lunch, need to speed home tonight so that I can go on the cross trainer have a shower and then cook dinner and go and see my friend. Looking forward to it but can't be bothered if you know what I mean, I think it's because I've been going to bed super early and I want to be in bed by ten latest lol. lazy moo that I am! Another NSD yaaay x

Lifes never predictable. You may well have landed the dream job and then found yourself unexpectedly pregnant or any one of another million things. Life never ever ever goes the way you want it to. You can't change the past but you can do everything possible to make sure that your future is a happy one. Life too short for regrets.

Training to become a teacher is not an easy descision to make but I spend my days surrounded by people who did just that and they all adore what they do. Its the happiest place I've ever worked, the atmosphere is electric every single day. I have perhaps the worst paid job on the planet with the worst job description ever. I spend each and everyday mopping up vomit but I wouldn't change it for the world. I'd far rather be poorly paid but incredibly happy than stupidly overpaid but depressed.

Besides teachers get to go to exotic locations and outdoor pursuits centres and on lots and lots of field trips its not quite the same as going to a business meeting in Switzerland but speaking as one who will be donning a toga and parading round the streets of Chester at the beginning of February as part of a KS2 project on The Romans I know which I'd rather be doing. Which way to the hotel spa?

My lovely moo2moo thank you so so much for your very real words, you are so very right I know I will love teaching and I hated being away from my dad and family etc when I worked away before so I wouldnt like it more now, just because I had a better job. And I would rather be at home with my OH than far far away, I need to make my soul and heart happy not my head.

Thanks everyone for being so kind about it all

Moo2moo you are so right about the jobs and money.

Both my parents were teachers, mum is retired and just reserve cover now but still misses it more than she will admit. It becomes a big part of your life and I'm sure you will love it. I thought about it but I can't combine my original business as need time off during term time, so have combined that with NVQ assessing which I love.

I am a strong believer in things happening for a reason and also that you should never put anyone down and always try and be positive - try Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and you will understand why.

Still snacking really badly, so got jacket pots for tea with chicken of some sort. Really need to do a cupboard sort out and see whats there and what I can make thats healthy and filling.

Hey Pippa, thank you hun, I AM pleased that I have decided on the OU and to teach, it is just going to be a long hard graft and my job at the moment is a way of life, just a bit of getting used to.

I am craving my fajitas, not going to friends now as really can't be bothered but will try and go on the cross trainer instead. This is the day I usually fall down diet wise but I am determined to go a full week of being good then next week will only be easier!

Need to lose another 0.3 kilos tomorrow, would be over the moon if I lost more than 4 but I'm not banking on it as Fajitas aren't the best for you.

oh oh oh guess what, my friend has just lent me Twilight!!! I am so glad I didn't buy it in the end.... just need to find time to read it!

    Speak soon

Fajitas I love them! Not had them for ages!

Can't really offer any words of wisdom of the job front, I'm in a good job, well paid but since I've never really been too ambitious, I'm happy to plod along and I enjoy it, just wish I loved it!
