Hey Missy- great to see you posting. It might be worth putting a link to this on your old diary as I know some of your regular readers were starting to worry about you, myself included!
Great to see all your wonderful plans. I'm trying to make essential buys only for a few months and this month am also doing my best to do minimal grocery shopping and use up my stocks. It will be interesting to see how we both go!

Hi Missy,
Good luck with diary-I shall subscribe. It seems everyone is getting married this year (except me as can't agree on date and location), and trying for baby (except me as we just put it on hold), and studying (yes, yes,,me as well -with OU).

Guess where I am...... at home in my jarmies
by the fire!!!! they let me go home! truth be told the snow really isnt that bad here but I was just doing as I was told
Have been starving at work all day today although I bought my lunch in so have been a very good girl and am eating a bowl of cereal (crunchy nut cornflakes yum yum... think they might be out of date though:rotfl:), before my LMB I would have gone and bought a rather large bar of chocolate instead, but, no more:j.
Although was meant to go to the gym today with work, but as I have been sent home I haven't beenslapped wrists all round, but hey nevermind.
Have looked at my list for today and have taken packed lunch to work and have got petrol and driven very economically, which is always good. Haven't sent amazon parcel back as forgot to take it to work so will do tomorrow (unless I'm snowed in and cant get to work) oh I did wipe over the bathroom, not going to dye my hair tonight, to be honest its far too much hassle and all I feel like doing is chilling so will do it at the weekend.
Will do my meal plan tonight and post it and you can see what you think.
Have gone through my toiletries and have put things into 2 piles, every day stuff just for work, the stuff that other people have bought for me which isnt quite my taste but will do for work (usually I'd just throw it away, but not the new missymoo) and the other pile is full of nice lovely stuff thats expensive and I have treated myself to or have been bought in the past, which is for weekends, to make me feel fabulous :T
Right am going to drink my cuppa and have a little chill out

Hi Missymoo, thanks for posting on my thread! Like you at the beginning of yours I was feeling a bit lonely talking all to myself
So I thought I'd come & check yours out!
Sounds like we have a lot of New Years Resolutions that are the same - I am definitely one for being lazy! Not so no more!! The inspiration you & others on this site give is amazing & I am definitely spurred on to sort myself out this year. Good luck with your 2010 & esp with the wedding & baby plans! :beer:2019 will be my year!!0 -
OMG have just sat and worked out that I need to pay off about £1000 a month for the next 12 months if I want to reach my goal of paying off all of my debts at the end of 2010:eek:...... With much working out and scrimping I think I can pay off about £900-950 a month but will need to make an extra £50 a month somewhere, this might not sound that difficult but the budget is soooo tight as it is I'm really going to have to get my thinking cap on, have thought more about getting another job but with leaving the house at 0630 and not getting home til 1830 at the moment and starting my OU course in March, realistically I'm really not going to have the time to do it, b*gger.
Reaching my target is going to be hard, I'm going to have to be really careful with my petrol consumption and not buy anything unless an absolute necessity for the next 12 months (excluding birthdays I suppose)
OK I need to think of an action plan, and I think a list (and a cuppa:D) are needed to get things moving in the right direction:
Right, here goes
Declutter - Taking a leaf out of Jellie's book I need to declutter, (thanks Jel) that way I will be more organised as I will know where stuff is, and anything half decent I dont want I can see if I can sell on ebay. Plus decluttering for some reason always makes me happy
List things on ebay - I need to actually read up on how to list things as have never done it!!!
Mealplan - I need to stop talking about it and actually write it and stick to it!
Bank cheque - Find cheque and actually put it in the bank it, its only for £18.25 or something similar but every little helps and I really need to stop being such a lazy moo!
Set clear targets - like no spend days and stick to them.
Join challenges - like the crazy clothes challenge and a payment a day and fly lady to keep me on track.
Will have a think but thats enough to keep me going for the time being. Think I might have a look at the make £10 a day thread (think its called that)
Speak soon my lovelies
Missy x0
