Hey everyone, so sorry I havent had much time to post have actually been hugely busy.
Have been shopping, have a confession to make though spent £33 instead of £20 but needed some marg, and got a chicken as apparantly OH's dad might be coming over, also sneaked in some dove deodorant, naughty I know.
This evening I have been really good and cooked fish cakes and 4 fish pies, and some bread, although it has severely flopped on one side!!
I am studying english language and literature by the way, first time I have ever studied OU and am petrified!!
Anyway best go

Hi Missy,
I too went to the supermarket expecting to spend just over £10, £30 later, ahem but got loads of staples. Gonna try making my own bread and just threw out almost a full loaf that had gone mouldy (well fed it to the birds). Bet mines flops too, ha!0 -
Exciting to hear the OU stuff has arrived! I'm sure once you make a start the nerves will subside and you'll enjoy it!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

Hi Missie
Enjoying keeping up with your diary - you sounds as though you're getting on great.
I'm still keeping up with most of my organising new years resolutions - although still very much snowed in and everyone is making a lot of mess at home!

****creeps gingerly into the room and sits down****
sorry I didn't post yesterday, but I was ahem... rather hungover all morning then had to go over to my dads for dinner/lunch.
Felt horrendous all morning... not good.
But I am fine today and ready for my NSD's and debt busting. But yesterday was a NSD due to feeling so icky so it wasn't all that bad.
Still on track with the debt busting I think.
I still have stuff to do for the wedding and I am really hating work. Came in to an email asking me why I hadn'tdone something and to explain myself!!
I so hate being treated like a child.
Not preg this month, tested today to no avail, a bit disheartened actually, but nevermind, I will keep smiling as always.
Have a confession to make, in my drunken stupor on saturday night I thought it a great idea to order a £12 bread tin, now I do need one as it is a 4lb and other only its full size bread, but £12!!!! Note to self, never go on ebay when you're drunk!!!!
Hope you're ok

Hi Missy,
Bread tin for £12:eek:??? Ooops, I must check if I ordered something online after Sat night...(although I did not drink alcohol, I was up till late writing OU assignment, I can't remember a thing:rolleyes:)
OU staff is great, make sure you do a little bit every day. We have a routine with OH, at 8 I withdraw myself to bedroom till 9ish, 10ish to study (and sometimes reading a good non-study book;)), than I join him again and we go to sleep:).My day off is on Fridays, but must change it as NCIS is starting this week I think on Tuesdays?
Don't worry about pregnancy, when we were trying we just decided not to do anything against it rather than "officially trying", it didn't work but at least there was no pressure from ourselves:).
When is the wedding? I'm too lazy to look back, sorry:o.0 -
Hey Kavics, yep £12!! Not happy, bless you staying up writing OU stuff I've got all that to come, yaaay, not!
I like the sound of your routine too, I am petrified as even looking at the questions I'm just not sure how to word the answers it has been so long since I have studied. Might be jumping on here asking you for advice on occassion if that's ok?
I get married in the Maldives the middle of march!! Think I might have found a seamstress, fingers crossed, the first one I tried was too busy!!!
And I know I shouldn't get cross about the trying for a baby stuff as we haven't been trying that long it is just so frustrating, but the longer it takes the better position we'll be in financially, so silver lining and all that.
Can't wait for tea we're having fish pie, yum yum.
