It's weird to think that my inane ramblings can inspire people sometimes!! Seems like we're in a good feedback loop here as you've inspired me to keep going and given me some good declutter ideas too!
I read a chapter of a book on The Simple Life earlier so am feeling all inspired again!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Hi missy,
You and jellie are inspiring me to get off my butt and de-clutter too, it was my plan but haven't got round to it yet. Wish was at home instead of work though!0 -
oh swinstie poor you hun, sending snowey thoughts to you.
Jellie, it's funny isn't it as you just keep inspiring me too.
Right going to carry on with my declutter, OH thinks I'm mad lol.:D
Also got some chores to do:
empty dishwasher
chuck out anything horrid in the fridge:o
tidy up hallway
hang up OH's washing, was meant to do it yesterday but forgot!!:o
I've been shamed into sorting out my wardrobe, thanks jellie and souk, feel very messy beside your immaculate rows of clothes
Well the snow has stopped but its still pretty thick, so don't really want to go too far.
We had shepherds pie for tea last night so that's one less thing on my meal plan as I hadn't planned for OH to be home yesterday, so will have to make a couple more.
As per mealplan am going to make curry tonight, which OH is happy about, although he does keep trying to scupper my plans by saying, "oh we need to go shopping and get this this this and this" where as I know that we can live without them as we have plenty of other stuff in.
Was almost going to send him to the shops to get some cheese on offer but thank goodness I've seen the error of my ways before I asked him as he would have come out with £30 worth of food we don't need.
Nope if I need cheese I'm going to have to go get it myself:rolleyes:
Am going to go through dvds as I'm sure me and OH have 2 of stuff, and going to be brave and sort through my books to amazon them, need to learn how first though. And instead of buying them in future I need to join the library
Right that's enough for now,
speak soon

I have to keep them organised as I have way too many of them. Lots are from charity shops but it is still a bit out of control! Another area where I need to apply the use it or lose it strategy!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Well so far today I have:
Emptied the dishwasher
put out OH's washing
tidied the living room
made lunch
have sorted my sock drawer, doesn't sound like much of a task but I didn't realise quite how many hold ups and socks I had, all are differnt so it's taken me ages. Much to the amusement of OH, I was happily sitting there folding my socks together (yes I know I'm v sad and have too much time on my hands, but it does mean I can fit more in:o) when OH came in and couldn't believe his eyes, said he'd never seen anyone fold socks before and started getting his phone out to take a picture, he thought it was so amusing!!!!! Just becuase his sock draw looks like the washing machine has exploded into it!!!
I seem to get so much less done when OH's around, I love him to pieces but sometimes...... grrrrrr.
Anways will be back to update later,

have just moved on to my underwear drawer..... now I have at least 30 I'd say maybe closer to 35 sets of underwear, and these are good ones as I've chucked all the old stuff away.... now is this too many??? I seem to have just accumilated them..... I do love underwear, but I am on a declutter or does undewear not count???
Help!0 -
You sound so like me!!
The OH often laughs at me doing things like this. My underwear is in sandwich bags so I can keep the matching stuff together!!I have no idea how much is too much....am currently pondering the same question as I think about doing mine again. I guess it will come down to whether it is being used.

Never too many! I only have about six matching sets though as previously had about 20, yes 20 Wonder Bras which I had to throw out because all of a sudden I didn't need them i.e. I got waaaayyyy bigger - wonder how that happened, too much cakes methinks!0

hehe, I've been chuckling away at all the boob/ underwear related dilemmas! I'm impressed with all your coordinating underwear because for some reason I don't seem to have the orgaisational skills to manage matching my underwear on a daily basis!Money paid out from Topcashback so far= £105.89 :j
