  • Hi Missy

Sorry about not being pregnant this month - fingers crossed for next time! I keep thinking about doing OU course - maybe you will inspire me to look again. Finance might prevent at the moment but maybe later in the year.

I love the sound of your wedding - how beautiful and romantic - I so wish I had done something like that.

Don't stress about it!! Just break everything down into small chunks and take it one step at a time. Remember you are there to learn- if you started off being perfect at it all there would be no point doing the course.
I'm not an english specialist but as a teacher will be happy to take a quick look at things if you like.

I'm studying too - I'm a teaching assistant and now doing a foundation degree in Education Studies....but I#m hopeless with motivation to work, I waste days on the internet (mostly on here;)). I have 2 weeks off work right now as not well, but really should do some uni work.

Anyway.....*tootles off to subscribe to fun-sounding new diary*...:rotfl:

Hello millyscarlett. Same here. Final Year of a Creative Writing degree. Should be doing my course work (one's due in on 21 Jan) and spend most of the day on here. I'm so undisciplined.:eek: I reckon I work better under pressure. That's what I tell myself.:rotfl::rotfl:

This site has really motivated me to delutter my home and use my large stash of toiletries.:j:j
    I went away and now I'm back.:j:j

    Hey Missy and all,

I really should be working but treating myself to a lay hour and a catch up.

Don't stress too much about falling pregnant - we tried for a year and nothing, went to a spa for a day out as a present came hom every chilled and 9 months later had my DS - still banned from going to another spa 10 years on :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

I got a breadmaker for Christmas, best thing ever, put ingredients in, set it to bake, eat yummy bread!

Have good day all, off to find what I can ebay, and have a look at Amazon, need to make some money quick as just broken car so need to buy another old banger - no car loan for me, in good old MSE fashion.

    Hi Missy,
Don't stress about OU staff yet, wait till 3 days before of the first assignment due ;). It's hard, but you'll be fine, make sure you use your course forum, people do help each other and you can share your ideas and worries. I set up a facebook page for my course (E100) in my particular profession, it's a small group, only 21 of us but at least we can relate to each other's problems and help discussing the TMA's.

If you need any help, just ask,i'll be here:).
Maldives sounds nice, do put the link here for previous diary. I will read it:).
    Have a nice day

Oh,yeah, and you might find it frustrating like so many of us if your tutor ignores you and doesn't help. Mine is particularly really bad, asnwers only with one or two words, but you need to know that you can always ask other tutors on the forum and they're more than happy to help! Just don't stress!

Wow Maldives, fantastic. So have you got your dress and everything all sorted?

Sorry it all did not work out this month on the baby front, but think of it as another month to pay off a little money.

I am sure once you get into the OU course you wll enjoy it. All things are a scary to begin with.

    hey everyone

hollie - thankyou the wedding does sound very romantic but the cost of it is making everything rather tense at home at the moment!! Isn't love great lol.

Kavics - thanks for the advice, haven't been allocated my tutor yet, but he/she best not be a yes no answerer else I'll be on their email every two seconds:rotfl:

Hey Chops I have 2 dresses one for the registry office (16th March) and one for the maldives (24th March, they cant legally marry you in the maldives so we're having to do the reg office first ) and it is going to be just me and OH for both, no one else is allowed to come :p

milly scarlett and msred - I am so undisciplined... OH thinks I am reading up on my course and instead I'm on here :o

Anyway... have had yet another rubbish day at work, god I hate b*tchy people they drive me mental!!

Have managed to eat reasonabley healthy and have been on the crosstrainer again, woop woop.... this might have something to do with the wedding dress fitting I have on saturday

Right best go do something constructive... might just take a peek at some diaries first.......

    Missy x
