Tried them in Margaritaville in Jamaica - if I didn't like them then then I doubt I'd like them here and now!!

The thing is , Margaritas vary enormously. My fave has lots of lime juce in, but some people only put a fraction in, which makes it taste horrible IMO.

I like the ratio 1:1:1 (Tequila, Triple Sec, Lime). I always salt the rim of my glass, and add plenty of crushed ice. It was my favourite drink last summer.

It works out cheaper in the end to buy the drinks separately and mix your own that way you can get the taste just right. Get a cheaper shaker and plenty of ice.

but what do you think of this one specifically (Cactus Jack £3 for 70cl) - must say it gets me drunk quite fast - strange as I can usually hold myself up well against vodkas - :confused:scotch etc. Margaritas always have made m:confused:e drunk.

I prefer to mix my own, so we only have them very occasionally at home. I got put off ready-made drinks, after drinking smirnoff ice.

give it a go james.......a good value drink by money to alcohol content.

I have never tried one, despite being a closet (shower) Status Quo fan.

But "a good value drink by money to alcohol content." gets my attention....so how much alcohol content.?

I already know the cost and quantity, what about the alcohol content.

Do you want to come round my house?

By the time you get here I'll have more Margaritas than you can drink ;)
