Boots loophole! Spend 99p on vitamins, get £2 back

Thanks OP and others. 6 slips for me today but as it says 'one per transaction' I was too timid to try more! Will do tomorrow etc and will be in another city at weekend so will buy more vits then. Glad to get the points just for the one anyway, but the SA did frostily ask me if I didn't want to get the 3for2 and looked disgusted when I said no thank you.

Couldn't find the cheap vitamins so wasn't going to bother but had a look in the clearance section and there were vitamin c tablets reduced to 50p! These worked fine with the vouchers!:T

oww... I tried today and bought some vit c chewable. The lady said I don't need a boots card becuase you cant get points under 1 pound. I then showed her my 200 points voucher and said she will do it separately. The points didnt go through in the end becuase it said I didnt buy any vitamins or supplements! dammit

Do i need to spent over 99p?

My points went on fine, spending 99p each time - all 6 times I've done it in the past 4 days .

hmm... I think im going to try again tomorrow - Can you scan the vouchers in self serve machines?

They beep, but are then over-ridden by the SA, on self scan. I've tried 3 different SS tills in different stores, and it beeps every time. Doesn't beep at all on the regular tills though.

So annoyed - was thinking of getting a 99p refund on my vitamins!!
