Orange PAYG - Calling from abroad?

Hey,

My phone is locked to orange network....and if i went to the UAE....i know my phone will work there but calls within UAE are very expensive.

So i know you get cheaper calls on the camel package if you call from UK to abroad but what about if you are abroad and call to someone in the same country or back to Uk....does the camel packagae not apply when calling from abroad?

Or anyone know if i can somehow get cheaper calls from the UAE?

The camel package is only on call from the UK. Once you're outside you're calling on another network which is why the costs are so high.

Best bet, get the phone unlocked and a local sim when you're out there.

A local SIM costs £10

These things are highly expensive out there for some reason.
