O2 Broadband Pro £4.16/month

O2 Broadband are one of the highest rated LLU ISP's in the UK. I've personally been on BeThere.co.uk (which is owned by O2 and uses the same network) for the last two years, and the service has been nothing short of exceptional.. blistering high speeds and NO usage caps.

I've just moved to a new residence and signed up to O2 broadband, and since there is an amazingly good deal right now I thought i'd tell you about it.

O2 Pro - which offers the highest speed DSL connection available in the UK.. £22.50 a month for non-o2 mobile customers, or £17.50 a month for o2 customers.

Via QUIDCO, you get an amazing £125 cashback on an O2 broadband pro package, PLUS O2 also give you two months for free.

So, doing the math...

If you're an O2 mobile customer..

£17.50 monthly for ten months (two months free) = £175.00, less the £125.00 cashback = £50.00 total inclusive of VAT for the year, with free installation and free wireless router. That's £4.16 a month.

If you're not an O2 customer...

£22.50 monthly for ten months (two months free) = £225.00, less the £125.00 cashback = £100.00 total inclusive of VAT for the year, with free installation and free wireless router. That's £8.33 a month.

Downsides? 12 month contract. Not really a big deal considering the price, but the cancellation fee is generally 3 months (67.50) if you're still in your contract, so something to watch out for. Also, the Quidco cashback /isn't/ guaranteed, but I have used quidco to order Be for myself and many friends, and the cashback has always been honoured 100%.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the headsup on the 2 months free - I've been waiting on something like that coming back since they stopped the 3 months free. Strangely enough it wasn't there earlier in the day.

Now means I can get the standard broadband for nothing for a whole year - £7.50 for 10 months and £75 cashback.

I have been wanting to try O2 to see what speeds I can get before ditching Virgin.

how can you avail this if you are currently on O2 broadband, will they not ask you to cancel the order placed through quidco, and have the existing account be renewed? am due for renewal already and any information will help....

If you are already an O2 broadband customer you can't go through Quidco.

    I don't have O2 broadband - just an O2 mobile.
