Well, they were in court, under oath... one copper and one independent mobile phone expert who does work for police, so you'd think they'd be truthful.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Brings up nothing.
They can tell who called who, but on the Vodafone network, you can't track WHERE (i.e location of cell used to connect the call) someone received the call. You can just see WHO called them. On all other networks, the provider can also supply the LOCATION of the nearest cell when someone receives a call.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

Update : Been in (and now out) of hospital, so a bit of a gap. Have opened the insurance confirmation. Tried the phone number listed on the contract, guess what : "the number you have dialled has not been recognised." Postie seen, name is not one he knows.
Next step. rather than try phoning the provider, I plan to visit their local branch. May take a day or two, and I will post the results. Thanks for ideas on way's forward.0 -
Who's the provider? Just it isn't as simple as going to the local branded shop and asking, particularly if its O2 or Vodafone as there are several different branchs (effectively) of each brand, sold by different shops, eg O2 Carphone Warehouse, O2 Online, Vodafone Singlepoint (or whatever its called now). The information pack should tell you, and a google will probably tell you easily which shop to visit is. Some stores may not be so helpful even then, as if they didn't supply the phone in the first place, it can affect their figures or cost them time and effort they could be selling. It might be easier for some providers - CPW for example - to ring their head ofice and ask to speak to loss prevention for the relevant department.0

[I would open the insurance letter, phone them up, and tell them that no one of that name has lived at that address, and it's fraudulent. I would then write to the company, sending the letter back, just to clarify with them that no one of that name has ever lived at that address.
I'd send the letter back via recorded delivery. Costs a bit but fraud under your name could cost you a lot more." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

Typical new age !!!!!!!!....'Spelling/grammar doesn't matter any more as long as the kids are achieving the key learning objectives of the topic'.
What a load of codswallop.
Cue the 'boo hoo, me dyslexic and so was Einstein so ers nuffink rung wiv bean nut abel to right rite' brigade.
Hey BFG, what exactly is your problem with the world that you have to sit on these forums for hours on end, at all times of day and night offering nothing but cynicsm, put downs and general wiseguy abuse.
Bet you're not like this in the 'real' world with 'real' people, you'd be getting b i t c h slapped all day long, safe in the online 'anonymous' world though eh
Now remember, the forums are here for help and advice for people from all walks of life, if it's upsetting you that much, take a break from it all and reasess your life and it's purpose
Aim that angry, childlike and petulant energy into a useful channel such as clearing snow off OAP paths in these troubled times.
Perhaps a poll for forum members to actually pass jusgement on your smug self perceived 'value' to these forums may be appropriate - whaddya think wiseguy.
Grow up sunshine - for yours and everybody elses sake.******************************************

Hey Doncha....
Get to the back of the queue.
I've got a lot of better stalkers than you.
I love the idea you're complaining at me when you're the one hiding behind a 'fresh' id just to stalk me with.
Try the following.....
cynicism...not your attempt - cynicsm
eh. ... not your attempt - eh
its purpose...not your attempt - it's purpose
OAP paths ...is that paths made of OAPs or paths exclusively for OAPs [like cycle paths]
judgement....not your attempt - jusgement
wiseguy? ...since you're asking a question
everybody else's....not your attempt - elses.
Oh, and minute...not your attempt minue
Still, keep trying and you might get that GCSE one day [but probably not].0 -
Hey now come on, let's keep this civil and knock the nasty and abusive PM's on the head.
Now, to get back to the point, what's the issue with being polite and helpful to fellow MSE members, why do you appear to think it cute to post venom and bile at each and every opportunity - let's talk******************************************

I didn't send you an abusive PM.
You need to move on and start stalking someone else.0
