it was a blunder, a friend watching the game pointed out afterwards
I could have put antiques on the right hand side, with the q on the double letter, worth 275 plus about 6 or 7
I should've pointed out - between two trebles there is always a double letter score - so I believe the second e was on it - hence 12 x 3 x 3 + 50 was the score

Bought Scrabble for Christmas and started playing it with my boys. Play a game everyday. Best so far for me is 209 but not in one word, I'm just a beginner.
BTW, you looked reasonably healthy on GMTV this morning, hope the man flu is more or less gone.
