Does the new sim card work with the phone?
Might just be you need a new sim to keep the old number with the new phone - in which case speak to Orange and see if they can transfer the number or give you a replacement sim.
  • When was the last time you used the old sim? Networks tend to disconnect sims if they have not been used to make a chargable call or text for the last 3, 6, or 12 months.
