I've just received the following for £6 - all local and organic in Herefordshire.
    2 x avocados
    1 x garlic
    2 x onions
    2 x tomato's
    1 x green pepper
    1 x bag rocket
    1 x aubergine
    2 x courgette
    1 x bag string beans
    1 x bag runner beans
    1 x head broccoli.

All really fresh and brilliant. No way could I have got the quality or quantity for the price in the supermarket. I'm really delighted.

  • we used to have a Veg Box ( Riverfords ) but I found it to be ever so expensive, and nowhere near enough for us. Plus lots of things that no one likes or a lot of things being duplicated.

I did have a Meat Box once, that was very good value, and tasty too.

  • I love my veg box....the convenience is fantastic, it means that there is always a meal available.... and saves a takeaway.... in effect paying for itself
