Problems connecting laptop & PS3

Hello!

My children both have laptops that can access the internet in some areas of the house and not in others. Also my son's PS3 can go online in the lounge but not in the playroom. This is causing much frustration and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please bear with me, I'm fairly computer/techno illiterate. I separated 18 months ago & my ex was a computer anorak so I know it's my own fault but he did it all and now I'm clueless but keen to learn - just use simple langauge to start with lol.

Thanks in advance

Annie

  • Sounds like the wireless signal in your house is not strong enough to cover all of the rooms. Firstly, where is the wireless router positioned? Ie is it in a corner of the house, far away from the places where the laptops cannot connect to it?
