I'm O+ so dead common :rotfl:
I have always gone _pale_ at even the thought of giving blood but there was a blood donor suite in the medical place I went to today and I almost took a step towards it to find out more. It would have had to be a complete impulse thing though - if they'd said 'come back at x time on y date' I would have chickened out, but I didn't even get that far.
Can't be much more scary than having blood tests can it?I had 3 tubes taken this morning in just a minute or so. The thing that makes me really _pale_ is the constricting sensation of the band they use on your arm - I also don't like having my blood pressure taken for the same reason. I also hate the image of needles going into veins although I obviously don't look!

Am now up to nearly 6k words. Still have no conclusion written but need about another 10 (minimum) sources into my literature review. Plan to switch by 13.30 to conclusions for 30 mins then have around 40 mins of reviewing (if possible) then print and get ready to leave by 3.

To be honest I loved giving blood - although naughty me hasn't recently...
However I have a bit of a horror story to anyone who has even a slight phobia of giving blood from my first time... so I won't say anything! :A
