Morning DFWers
I guess it's back to work for most people after the christmas break
early morning jog:
I woke up at 4.30am when DH prodded me in the back and said "it's 4.30am". My reply was along the lines of a grunt. I stuck my foot out of bed and... that's as far as the jog went:rotfl::rotfl: I'll try again tomorrow:o
I have managed to WATCH the biggest loser exercise DVD now so might try that for an hour when Evie has her lunchtime nap:D
Am taking Evie to playgroup this morning and then joining the remaining SAH mums I met at post-natal support (there's only 3 of us left and one of those works but has monday's off).
Must go and have breakfast soon otherwise it'll be a crappy start to the diet!
Hope everyone has a great day but I'll be back at lunchtime to catch up with y'all.

Morning
Have seen OH off to work. I should be back at work but have leave to finish the dreaded dissertation. I need to write about 3.5-4k words for it, and print it out for 3pm, then go and hand it in
I thought I had until the end of tomorrow not today to do this, so today will be interesting
At least in my day off tomorrow I can get some housework done etc.
Hope you all have a good day.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Morning all
Cat - I can't imagine anyone would want to get up at 4.30am for a jog in the summer let alone with all the ice in the winter! Enjoy your day.
Bookie - Enjoy your visit to the job center, have they got all your payments sorted now?
Morning Squizz - Nice to be back?
Katsu - Good luck!
Carp nights sleep, DH is in lots of pain today...Physio have discharged him for the 2nd time as they can't help. Will be taking him to GP's in a bit to discuss DLA forms and push for more help. Fun fun fun!
DD2 has gone back to school today, DD1 is still languishing in her pit until she goes back tomorrow....the early start wasn't nice!!!! (although I have got lots done)"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Morning Squizz! Did you have a good Christmas/New year break?
I am up, and now totally bored  Other than walk the dog and/or clean there is nothing for me to do today. I fancy doing something but there is nothing of interest/importance to do around here  I now have to fill a few weeks of 'nothing'. Bookie I dont know how you survive I really dont, I would be climbing the walls :rolleyes:0 -

Morning all,
It's like pea soup at this end. I'm going to be on the caffeine all day, just about, as I've got an essay to finish, washing to do and I'm on nights as well this week. I'm not complaining though, I need the extra money. And if I stay awake all day, I might sleep tonight instead of waking up ages before I have to get up (and considering I get up at 6am, that's too early) no matter how late I go to bed. It's stress, I know it is. My dissertation is due in in 4 months and my last essay a week afterwards. Uni's nearly over and I'm trying to do the workload of two years at once, plus hold down a job and keep a house in order. Thank God it's just me. I don't know how some of the women on my course manage it with kids, I really don't.

Isn't that how so many of us feel on returning to work? My OH really did not want to go this AM. Last night we were talking about it and he said the problem is if you have no job you have the time you wanted but not enough money to enjoy the time, but when you work you earn the money but don't have the time to enjoy yourself.
I think this is very true and unfortunately this supports his "so we should move to a cheaper area where we can overpay the mortgage far faster than we can here in this dearer area, then we will be far more free"!
Anyway, I must return to the grindstone. I need to hand in anywhere from 7,200 words to 11,000 words. I'm currently at 5k, so need to write at least another 2.5k in the next 4.5hrs. Should be do-able if I can get into the swing of it from all my notes scattered around me and the help of the trusty internet.
Oh, and have finally been paid for an ebay auction where the bidder won just before Christmas, so can now post their parcel off along with an Amazon book Last one for a while I think.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0
