*puts on old lady voice and shaky arm* Oooh when I were a lass, you didn't see none of this ipod thing like you do now, all we had if we were lucky was a phone in the house. If not, it were up the road. An' all these things with the sky+, we used ot have to record them on a tape, and someone had to make sure the channel were right. O' course, this were when I lived in a cardboard box, so i might be wrong.

  • Evening all,

Hello, goodbye, I'm afraid. I'm shattered. Hopefully, I'll actually sleep properly tonight.

@ bookie - :grouphug: This time of year is never nice to deal with, especially with nothing to do. If there's nothing on telly, maybe an early night would help. I hope you feel better soon.

Still my stew was good - and there's more for tomorrow. Although at £2 it is probably still not dfw.

I was laughing to meself about this the other day. When i was young childrens TV didn't exist on sat and sun mornings....so we always had to amuse ourselves. Cos I am an early riser I was always the sad git knocking on me mates houses asking if they were playing out at 8am on Sunday...:rotfl:

We had to go and play outside on our bikes and on the playgrounds....that just doesn't happen now

    It doesent.
All DS & his mates want to do is play bleeping games on bleeping consoles.
