I see you've all solved the mystery of Cabot Tower - sorry pap was trying to be discreet and not do place names #serious fail on my part :p

Cant believe you dont like the tower though - its great!!!

:rotfl: I dont mind the place 'around' town. I think eveyone has gathered I live in Bristol by now  I did edit some of my latter posts though because that was highlighting areas too close to me :o The tower I dont like is Blaise, although thats supposed to be a castle :rotfl: It is kinda all of nothing. My fave area has to be the Downs/Clifton susbension bridge. A picnic, some music and 50p for an ice cream and you are set for the day :T

Becky you must let me know when you are next down and we can have a mini meet  Thanks for all your help everyone :grinheart I think I have about 4 days planned out now. But I have to go to Bath because I so have to go here :j Two for one too

Its meant to get to minus 6 here tonight.

I have had the heating on for three hours today and I refuse to budge by putting it on for longer...

Four layers and a sleeping bag as well - hopefully should be warm enough until I can curl up into bed with a hot water bottle!

Its not moneysaving reasons that I do this but years of living with my father who thinks any temp above double digit C is shorts and tshirt weather... although it probably doesn't help this house is rubbish at heating itself...!

I've given in to the heating this year, I'll deal with the bill when it comes but DH's circulation is so bad that we have to keep the house warm.....still wearing layers so it's not tropical but the heating is on all day.

I'm utterly shattered tonight and could do with a very large drink and a very early night.
