O2 GPRS on a SPV C500

[rant] Hi... very much not happy with O2 right now, here's the story: I bought an SPV C500 Windows Smart phone on EBay, which is a handset marketed by Orange. Received and unlocked it myself, and calls and text work fine on O2. BUT I could not get online with it or receive MMS at all.

I googled around trying to find PAYG settings, and none worked, so I emailed O2, who sent me the generic settings. Failure again, I went to the shop in Carmarthen who put me on the phone to technical support - the man there said to ask in the shop for two things, either a flash for the phone or a discount on an XDa. The shop offered me neither, so I'm stuck with a smart phone that won't go online!

Who should I turn to now? Anyone got any ideas, or is the only option to defect to Orange?

Cheers all, [/rant]
