Glad to hear your issue's solved, Shaggy. I've no doubt whatsoever that the !!!!-up's the fault of mobiles.co.uk as I've had many dealings with Vodafone before and their customer service has always been just about the best in the business.0

Its failed connection to the network, they need to do a return and resale (if they follow the same process as CPW) to get it connected.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I recently sent off my first cash-back claim to mobiles.co.uk. All went very smoothly. Within a week I received a text message saying that the claim had been successful, and about a week after that, a cheque arrived in the post. Great service, I thought. I then submitted the check to my bank.
I was totally shocked to receive the cheque back from my bank who stated that it had bounced - 'payment stopped'. I don't understand what happened here. I contacted them via the web form provided, but no response to date. How do I get this situation rectified - not a good start.0 -
There are loads of other problems like long delays and customers getting runaround. However, a bounced cheque is something new. As cheques usually come with CPW name on them, I think some banking error is more likely, but don't take my word for it.0

Never ever had a bounced cheque from CPW.
Does seem strange and would not for one moment think it's a problem with cash flow.
Have you checked the cheque (dates etc.)?? Agree with grumbler and probably an error somewhere.

Er... actually, it's not new. It's happened recently to one of my lot - and we did find out why in their case. It does appear from what is going on as though cpw are deliberately delaying payments using a variety of tactics.0

I will answer that with a pm - giving to many details publicly is not a good idea.0

Im at my wits end with this company also , I returned a newly bought faulty phone four weeks ago and was told I would get replacement sent straight away well after a week nothing arrived and after many attempts trying to call customer service I got through to be told no stock of my phone so I asked for a refund which I was told was no problem and would be paid back to my card , well here I am no phone no refund no answer to my emails or calls now thinking of contacting my bank as this seems must be illegal ,any help or advice would be great...0
