Does the title tell you how frustrated I am?!

I can't top up online anymore. I can't top up my phone or my partner's. I managed to top up a new phone with a new number, but that was it. This has been going on for weeks now.

I keep getting this:

We are sorry but your top-up has not been successful as you are only allowed to top-up two mobiles from any one card within any 30 day period. This is one of O2's card top-up rules. Please use another card or top-up in any shop where you see the green E top-up logo.

Which is rubbish since I use a different card for different numbers. The online help is useless and the message that appears beside the above, says to phone customer services and it gives the phone number 08705 678 678.

Phoned that number and I got a person who says I shouldn't have phoned that number  and that I have to email as there is no number for the website error team.

Why cite a number (0870 come to that!) if it's not right!

Has anyone got any other number suggestions? I have no faith that an email will sort this out.

So you have two top cards and two numbers to top up.
Once you top one number with one card, clear your browser cache and do the second number with the second top and see if that works.

Thanks, tried that but doesn't work.

On the phone to O2 again now who are just not grasping the problem.

i know you couldn't do it from the house so it's of little use right now, but have you tried topping up via a hole in the wall? i know natwest definitely offer that service for free, and down here you can do it at most ATMs

38 minutes and 46 seconds @ 5p per minute. That's one nice little earner for O2.

Finally got it sorted out but the cs peep had to keep referring to her supervisor which took the time.

They need to delete every single cc and debit card number I have ever used at any time, that was linked to my phone number.

OH will have to phone up and get them to do the same with his phone number.

We cannot top up until the cards have been deleted then we can start again and the top up should work. Will take 48 hours.

The original person I spoke to was probably a trainee who hadn't got a clue and instead of referring to someone who did know, he just made it up.
