  • I have 3 teenage stepkids (plus a 2 year old) who can be quite expensive to buy for. However I try and visit poundland and the 99p stores regularly to see if there's stuff in there. There isn't always, but you can get some real bargains (at the mo I think they have some lego, boots products and Lynx shower gels, and I recently got some friends DVDs) I think there's a thread with details of all the bargains on the grabbit thread! Good luck!

    i bought a huge box of stuff in the sales last year from boots and next, have dipped into it a couple of times for birthday presents throughout the year but it has saved me a fortune!! I always look at this time of year as well, July sales have lots of bargains to snap up and keep one side till Xmas. With no spare money around though, xmas is gonna be pretty bleak this year, but we will make the most of it! :o
