brown beef when raw any ideas

    apparently red meat turns brown as it mixes with air - so the air tight packaging hasnt worked as well as it should
    but the actual meat is ok brown or red - as long as when u put ur nose to it u dont feel like throwing up :)

    i have seen a lot of brown mince being sold in proper butchers - its only the supermarkets that tend to have the red stuff - funny that, as posted earlier - the colour is artificial to fool us
