Went to the local Tesco to get bread, milk and something for tea tonight and ended up spending just shy of £20 on ONE meal!
We're going to go to the big Tesco tomorrow as Adam had physio today, it was right in the middle of the day and with feeding times we couldn't go so we'll go on the 60mile round trip after the kids get up. I'm really dreading the cost, even with OH's discount ASDA still works out loads cheaper.
I suppose it would be alot harder for you to get to a supermarket with 4 kids though so I guess it must have made you mad when yours didn't get delivered! I hope you had plenty of wipes though, I'm down to my last packet
Lol Mary,
You call yourself and MSE'er, you should have your cotton washable wipes on standby lmao!!
No im joking hun, I have cotton wool and baby lotion stuff for when things get really tough:rotfl: I do bulk buy though so its a very rare occasion I run out of baby essentials

Hi everyone
Hope you are all ok. That is a bit crappy Mary with them hardly giving any notice, mind you when we had the snow in Feb last year I had a tesco delivery booked and they didn't tell me they weren't delivering until I rang them after the allocated time slot to ask where they were! It wasn't even that bad at that point! Mind you I didn't have kids needing anything either, can imagine I'd have been even more fuming if I'd have needed baby stuff!
Love the joke Green, can you put me down for 75p today please. I REALLY want it to be February so I can have some money, even if just for one day... :rotfl:
I was planning on starting my exercising again tonight but I really can't be bothered to go out to the swimming pool - FF can you shove some of your renowned motivation down south please(and a flapjack while you're at it - see there I go again!!) I don't know why I'm struggling so much to get my arris into gear, I did really well in the middle of last year so you would have thought I would find it easy to get back into it but it's not happening at the moment.
Welcome to the fold gonnabedebtfree, you do realise we are all going be getting you confused with Paulgonnabedebtfree :rotfl:. Just make sure you post your pads nice and big and colourful so the counter can see them.

Hi all, just another £1 to the ccs today.
Work has been hellish as so busy and I'm knackered and grumpy. I started a diary on here and have found it strangely theraputic just waffling about random nonsense. :rotfl:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
A fairly respectable £37.18 for me today please split between Debenhams, Tesco Mastercard, Virtual Sealed Pot and Actual Sealed pot (ASD?)
Feel a little disquieted about £5.90 of this PAD as it was contributed by Mr S---nsb--ys as a refund because I was cheeky enough to return their 2 bottles (one open - I was that shameless!) of alcohol-free red wine under their 'if you don't love it - bring it back' promise - well I didn't so I did! If that isn't bad enough I actually bought them on special offer 2 for £4 and they have refunded me at full price so I've made £1.90 profit - oooh the humiliation but alls fair in moneysaving love and war !<skulks off to hide face>

Hi Padders long time no see:o
I have been catching up on the new thread and feeling guilty that I haven't been PADding but it didn't fit in very well with my current challenges:rolleyes:
Today I have been messing about with my snowballs and working out which cards I will be paying my big payment to when I get paid at the end of April (so no complaints about being paid monthly try being paid 6 monthly as we are ) there are two cards that I need to clear as the 0% rates will then be about to run out taking normal payments into account I realise that I would be about £1200 short of clearing both cards I had intended to BT the balance to another card but £1200 is only:rolleyes: just over £10 a day between now and then so I have decided to try and PAD £10 a day and clear the cards it will mean that I will personally will then not owe anything on CCs something that hasn't been the case for over 20 years:j. It won't last as by September I will need to BT a balance from OHs card probably to one in my name and it is acadamic as the debt is ours and it just happens to have fallen this way but it is a nice thing to aim for:D
So to kick it off £10 for me today Green to Mint.
