Cheapy holiday to Fuerteventura with friends. Should be good but hoping there aren't any dramas. Been saving since August for it (first time I've SAVED for a holiday!) should just be a nice chilled week.

Just pray to god you aren't in the Oasis complexes - Corralejo (the North) - (i.e. Oasis dunas/papagayo etc) - they are a dump! I have a place in Lanzarote and you just nip on the ferry - 20 minutes to Fuerty! When you're there it is worth nipping on it (the Fred Olsen ferry) to Lanzarote - totally contrasting islands.....

WHY WHY WHY tell me that now!!!! My friend uses their pool so she said thats not a bad place to stay. I'm responsible for booking it.... :mad: But we only paid £50 each so I'm really not expecting much! Self catering too by the way so eating out or getting stuff from supermarket...

Are you at the Oasis complexes, i.e. a thomson cheapo one? Not being funny, just asking lol......

If your mate uses their pool then that must be the Dunas - there are no bungalows near the Papagayo - but the Dunas is surrounded with them lol

Yes the papagayo one... her parents live somewhere near and that was where she told us to stay, it's where she is staying this time too. We were going to go all-inclusive but figured by the time we'd spent however much on a hotel (250-300) we could just book this one for 50 and use the rest for meals and drink.

Its really expensive there - really expensive! But there are some nice places to eat nearby.......

Papagayo is actually right at the top of Corralejo, by the huge outdoor waterpark and markets... its really nice, just messing when I said it wasn't!

If you use facebook you can see a folder I have on there with about 50 photo's from there lol...... ive been once, and the Dunas once.

When you're there, and head into town on a night (not much else to do) make sure you avoid the Hong Kong all inclusive chinese but deffo visit the steak house! Its about £20 for a nice steak etc but it is well worth it!

God you really panicked me then for a second.... I was properly freaking out!! Had just been reading rubbish reviews on the internet too. It's carnival time at the moment too, and the last night is while we are there so should be a laugh. If I could see you, you would be getting a slap right now!
