  • DS4 was peddaling home last night with his mate when a taxi driver  knocked him off his bike and just drove off :mad: Another taxi driver stopped to see if he was ok and offered him a lift home, very nice of him but I'd rather he got the other driver's registration number!!!!

Anyway DS has a cut and swollen chin, brusied chest where he went over the handlebars! and a few cuts to his hands/knees - was absolutely fuming last night but obviously police can't do anything without reg no :mad:

Sorry to hear I would be livid.

From threads I've read before I think the advice is ask to speak to a more senior officer in the first instance. If that doesn't work let them know you will be contacting the Police Complaints Commission.

I'm sure if he ended up in hospital the police would automatically be informed and forced to investigate. This should be no different. It seems they are more concerned about crimes solved statistics than doing their job.

Really an ambulance should have been called at the scene and possibly a head and chest xray performed I suspect. Any wrist pain? It is quite easy to think a fractured scaphoid is a sprained wrist and it goes untreated.

I'd maybe see a doctor anyway.

I'll try, KPR11! getting to grips with this formum malarky, I only ever look at two, and they are both so very different.lol I have some to learn now, just a case of fiddling and seeing what happens I guess. lol. You all seem very nice here, and I seem to check the page more than I reasonably should, well when I'm not at work. I'm like a kid with a new toy. This whole concept sorta fascinates(?) me :-$ :D xx
