This is the sort of stuff I need to remind myself of when I get a bit peed off with being self-employed.
Honestly, I wouldn't last 5 minutes in a sh1thole like that. The only question remaining would be as to whether or not I gave them a gobful of abuse on my way out the door. Hopefully I've outgrown such behaviour but I wouldn't say that with my hand on my heart.
I'm pretty sure if it got to that point, and I paid a little visit to the CAB for some legal advice they wouldn't have a leg to stand on. Unfortunately I don't think anyone has bothered to stand up to it in the past and it's just more of a scare tactic than anything else. Still pretty pants though... and they wonder why the team morale is rock bottom? It's not exactly rocket scienceBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Indeed it isn't rocket science and really they are shooting themselves in the foot.
Presumably the object of the excercise is for them (the employer) to get the maximum production for the minimum cost. A child could tell them that their most productive employees will be their happiest employees. By pushing hard and making everyone miserable, they are actually achieving the opposite to what they are intending. I've been an employer and an employee so I have been on both sides of that fence.0 -
Sounds like marathon toothbrushing sessions going on in Prague. Mind you, you have to hand it to them for thinking outside the box. They probably earn far more by providing sexual services free with paid viewing on the internet than they ever would by actually charging for the sex itself. In fact, they could probably go as far as being a bit selective with the punters and paying them a bit. Sounds like an MSE idea but personally, I would rather sh*g someone because we like each other than for a business transaction.0

£50.22 to the evil egg!
Need to start with the dreaded ebaying again soon or I will be running out of money before I run out of month. OH has had no work to speak of since Christmas and his MOT & service have added to cc debt:mad:
Pleased to say I am still in current job until end of March, then hopefully redeployed, but maybe on less money:eek: so I really need to attack those cards now.
Hoping for at least 5 NSD this week.
Have a happy Monday,
Pip

Just checked online banking - why do people insist on taking all my money at the start of the week mid month? Grrrrrr
I ought to spend some time sorting things out! Just noticed 2 different payments to Vodafone, one for £155 and another for £80 - what are these for? I mean isn't one bill per month enough?!
Also, have two direct debits to the same credit card at different times of the month! I was sure i'd paid HSBC card last week (in full, as always), but today they took an extra £5.20 (maybe interest? who knows)......
Sky - there's another one, how is it possible tp pay them £107.50 per month ! That's a shocker! Or how about my Gas/Leccy - £330 per month !
I need a good woman to sort out my finances! Pay = Living with Niddy! lol
Niddy = soon to be bust! lol :rotfl:2010 - year of the troll
Niddy - Over & Out
